An applicant for approval of authority to operate an aircraft dispatcher course of study must have facilities, equipment, and materials adequate to provide each student the theoretical and practical aspects of aircraft dispatching. Each room, training booth, or other space used for instructional purposes must be temperature controlled, lighted, and ventilated to conform to local building, sanitation, and health codes. In addition, the training facility must be so located that the students in that facility are not distracted by the instruction conducted in other rooms.

Depending on how you prefer to learn and study, there are a few great Series 65 exam prep courses to choose from. Many of them offer self-paced, online, live virtual, and even in-person class options, so you can choose the one that suits you best.


This package of course materials also contains implementation guides, an archive of several past E&M II courses at CU, and other supporting documents (e.g., explicit learning goals, relevant education research articles, and notes on common student difficulties). Source files are included (in PowerPoint and Word formats) in order to facilitate their adaptation and implementation at other institutions.


Instructors and education researchers are free to use and adapt these materials for non-commercial purposes, according to the creative commons license below. We ask for your cooperation in not making any solutions you may create for the homework (and exam problems, clicker questions, etc...) available on the open web, out of respect for instructors and students at other institutions, and for maintaining the integrity of our research.

ETA offers many of the suggested study materials (listed at the end of each of our competencies) in the ETA online store. If you don't see the specific book you are looking for, then please check online or at your local bookstore.


ETA understands each individual is different in regards to their experiences, education, and skill sets. That's why ETA does not require examinees to purchase study materials. By knowing the topics listed on the corresponding competency, an examinee can feel confident that they will succeed on the exam.


ETA publishes two books in-house for the popular Associate CET (CETa) basic electronics and Customer Service Specialist (CSS) workforce readiness certifications. Each of these study guides are written by industry professionals, and feature chapter quizzes and practice exams (actual certification examination questions are derived from their respective competencies).
